Application Architect plays a critical role in defining the technical solution and architecture for Texture Health application. Application Architect directly reports to Sr. Director of Application to set the right architecture for the product. Application Architect works with offshore technical lead to provide technical solutions, conducts technical audit and ensures solutions are scalable and reliable. Works with the data governance and infrastructure team to product availability and scalability. Works with Data architects and ETL developers to deliver data solutions.


  • Architect solutions using J2EE , Spring Framework, JSP , JQuery/Angular JS
  • Evaluate and recommend software technologies in these areas, evaluate alternatives and analyze problems with data infrastructures
  • Produce documents relating to application architecture, design steps, integration processes and testing procedures relating to each product developed
  • Analyze specifications and create high level architecture and prototype/POC.
  • Analyze defects and perform root cause analysis
  • Provide solutions in the areas of disaster recovery, data integrity and security
  • Must be prepared to offer viable solutions for various systems and architectures to different types of businesses
  • Ensure a seamless integration of new and existing systems to eliminate potential problems and maintain data structure and integrity


  • Must be expert in J2EE, Spring Framework, JSP, Jquery, Angular JS
  • Must have used Git and Jenkins
  • Must have cloud hosting, monitoring, performance tuning, and optimization experience
  • Experience with Newrelic, splunk tools is preferred
  • Strong understanding of network design and cloud optimization.
  • Experience with Rackspace , AWS or Azure is preferred
  • Must have MySQL, MongoDB and Redis experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Application Architect . . . greater than 5 years
  • J2EE, Spring Framework, JSP, JQuery/Angular . . . greater than 5 years
  • MySQL, MongoDB, Redis . . .  greater than 2 years
  • Jenkins . . . greater than 3 years


Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment, and physical presence and regular attendance are essential functions of the job. This role routinely uses standard office equipment.

This is a full-time position that regularly requires 40-hour work weeks.  


Travel as needed for local meetings.
